KENNY HAHN RE-ELECTED TO UBG BOARD

Kenny Hahn, General Manager of Planters Co-op Assn. of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma and Chairman of the United Benefits Group Board of Directors was re-elected to a five-year term in this year’s UBG Director election.  Each year one position on the five-man Board comes up for election.  Ballots are cast by each of the Plan’s 464 Participating Employers on a proportional basis – one vote for each active employee-participant.

As always, United Benefits Group strives to have three excellent candidates for each Board position, and this year was no different.  The Board and Staff of United Benefits Group would like to thank Brent Smith, General Manager of Farmers Cooperative Assn. of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Joe Royster, General Manager of Dacoma (OK) Farmers Cooperative for their willingness to serve as candidates in this year’s election.

Also deserving mention are members of this year’s Nominating Committee:  Ted Cox, General Manager of Red River Farm Co-op in Gainesville, Texas ; Kent Prickett, General Manager of Farmers Grain Co. of Pond Creek, Oklahoma ; Jim Carlson of the UBG Board, and Dave Christiansen of the UBG Board.

These same five gentlemen also serve as members of the Co-op Retirement Plan Committee, the governing authority of the Plan.
